Funeral services for Retha M. Hill, 81, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dwayne Thornton officiating. Interment will follow in the Largent Cemetery.

Retha was born July 1, 1936 in Houston County, Texas to the late Jack Johnson and Eurene (Rhone) Johnson, and died Saturday, June 9, 2018 in a local facility.

Survivors include her sisters, Susie Slaughter of Trinity and Sandra Sorenson and husband Butch of Pollok; brother, Bob Johnson and wife Loretta of Tacoma, Washington; Grandsons, Tommy Boyett and Billy DeCray, both of Moore, Oklahoma and Richard DeCray of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter-in-law, Pam Boyett of Arlington, Virginia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Marshall Boyett and Gene Hill; son, Tom Boyett; sister, Ann Cooper; and nephew, Jay Cooper.

Pallbearers will be Stacy Murray, Jason Sorenson, Stan Murray, William Ashworth, Stuart Oates, and FCA2-John D. Lawson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Colby Oates, Michael Mettlen, Shane Lawson, and Steve Murray.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
