Peggy Lynne (Boulware) Oliver

Funeral services for Peggy Lynne (Boulware) Oliver, 68, of Nacogdoches will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brent Crosswhite and her nephew, Reverend Ryan Berryhill officiating.

Ms. Oliver was born to parents Wallace and Eva Mae (George) Boulware in Jasper, Texas on November 20, 1952. She passed from this life Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in a Nacogdoches hospital.

Peggy held many jobs in her lifetime but her most memorable one was her tenure with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company where she worked as a secretary for 27 years until the closing of her office. She made many friends and carried special memories of those years.

She was raised on singing as a child and was active in many school plays that required singing. Her love for this led her to sing for the elderly in the nursing home in Nacogdoches. Singing was one of her joys, in addition to cooking and trying new recipes. Feeding friends and family was how she showed love and compassion.

Survivors include her younger brother and his wife, Clifton and Lane Boulware of Nacogdoches; daughter, Marla Oliver of Nacogdoches; two grandchildren, Chastity Elizabeth Holliman and husband Josh of Fort Riley, Kansas, and Michael Payton Oliver of Fort Worth, Texas; four great-grands, Jaedyn, Lucas, and Peyton Holliman and Grayson Oliver; numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, George Alfred Boulware.

Pallbearers will be Josh Holliman, Heath Bragg, David Conlin, Michael Oliver, Kevin Boulware, Keenan Boulware, Kelton Boulware, Chad Murray, and Brandon Boulware.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning prior to the service.
