Morgan C. Butler

Graveside services for Morgan C. Butler, 68, of Garrison will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Berry Cemetery.

Mr. Butler was born December 23, 1953 to the late Roxie (Daniel) and Floyd Butler, and died Wednesday, April 13, 2022.

Mr. Butler retired from working at the United States Postal Service. He was a Veteran and very proud of his time served in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed duck hunting and fishing. Mr. Butler was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Maegan and Russell Wright of Garrison; granddaughter, Madison Wright of Garrison; sister, Kathy Caton of Huntington; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kay and David Alsbrooks of Lufkin; nieces, Shannon Butler Dickey, Kayla Caton of Huntington, Lindsey Rice and husband Luther of Lufkin; nephew, Travis Phillips and wife Courtney of Lufkin; great-nephews and great-niece, Trapper Dickey, Gavin Phillips, Griffin Phillips, Ledger Rice, Lana Rice, all of Lufkin; and numerous cousins and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Diane Butler; and brother, Dennis Butler.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
