Lance Mcmillon

Funeral services for Jerry “Lance” McMillon, 63, of Lufkin will be held Monday, March 17, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Harmony Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Todd Core and Dr. John W. Greene officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Wells.

Mr. McMillon was born January 15, 1962 in Tyler, Texas to the late Lydia Ann (Flowers) and Jerry Glynn McMillon, and died Saturday, March 15, 2025 in a local hospital. He retired from Brookshire Brothers following 43 years of employment. He enjoyed umpiring high school baseball for over 20 years. He loved to deer hunt and spend time with his family and friends at the deer lease. He loved to go and watch baseball. Mr. McMillon was a member of Harmony Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Natalie (Gilchriest) McMillon; children, Seth McMillon, Analisha McMillon, Kala Black and husband Cody, and Caden McMillon and wife Kylie; granddaughters, Brookelyn Koehler, Brenleigh and Bristol Black, Savannah and Riley McMillon; brothers, Dru McMillon and wife Carol, and Brady McMillon and wife Larissa; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gregory Dane McMillon.

Pallbearers will be Hunter McMillon, Roger McClendon, Luke McMillon, James Havard, Jay Jelinek, Denver McMillon, and Ricky Moulder.

Honorary pallbearer will be David Fuller.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday afternoon prior to the services.
