Kathy (Anderson) Hilliard

Memorial services for Kathy (Anderson) Hilliard, 59, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, February 20, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at the Neches Pines Golf Course Pavilion. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Kathy was born January 24, 1961 in Freeland, Pennsylvania to Alfred and Blanche Anderson, and died Friday, December 18, 2020 at her residence.

Kathy served her country as a mechanic in the United States Air Force and currently worked as a cashier at Walmart. She enjoyed fishing and drawing. Kathy was a member of Carpenter’s Way Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Julieanne and Jose Mendoza of Diboll; son, Andrew Hilliard of Fuller Springs; grandchildren, Ethan Mendoza and Kandyse Mendoza, both of Diboll; mother, Blanche Anderson; sisters, Blanche and Alicia; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father; husband, Tommy Smith; son, James Hilliard; and sister, Lucille.
