Kammy Leigh Emerson

Funeral services for Kammy Leigh Emerson, 51, of Huntington will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Elwyn M. Gipson Memorial Chapel in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Emerson was born February 28, 1966 in Carthage, Texas to the late Elma Ruth (Hight) and Douglas Lovell, and died Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in a local hospital. She was a graduate of Hudson High School and had resided in Huntington for 25 years.

Survivors include her husband, Stephen Emerson of Huntington; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Keith and Heather Emerson of Huntington; daughters, Kristin Leigh Emerson and Kimberly Rochelle Snider, both of Huntington; grandchildren, Blake Elliott, Garrett Sides, Corbyn Snider, Alana Emerson and Nevaeh Snider, all of Huntington; sister and brother-in-law, Kristina and Terry Pitts of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Kirby and Melanie Lovell of Nacogdoches; mother-in-law, Bonnie Emerson of Hudson; brother-in-law, Eddie Emerson of Hudson; uncle and aunts, Tony and Elaine Hight of Gary, Dora Hight of Hudson and Ruth Shull of Carthage; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Keith Lovell; grandparents, Ernest and Lucille Hight and Jake and Ethel Lovell; father-in-law, Richard Ed Emerson; and brother-in-law, Mike Emerson.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Saturday at Carroway Funeral Home.
