Funeral services for Jean Crenshaw, 72, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John W. Greene officiating. Entombment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park Sunset Mausoleum.
Mrs. Crenshaw was born September 16, 1945 in Jacksonville, Texas to the late Eva Christine (Jackson) and Richard Henry Price, and died Thursday, November 30, 2017 in Lufkin.
Mrs. Crenshaw had resided in Lufkin most of her life. For 37 years she was an Administrative Assistant to Mill Management of St. Regis, Southland, Champion and Abitibi Paper Mill. Mrs. Crenshaw adored her grandchildren. She was Methodist by faith and attended Harmony Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Charles “Sonny” Crenshaw of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Jo Ellen Crenshaw of Lufkin; grandsons, Lawson Crenshaw and Liam Crenshaw of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Charles Shelton of Edmond, Oklahoma; a few nieces, nephews and other relatives; and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda Kay Price Paddie.
Pallbearers will be C.J. Shelton, Jayme Shelton, Lee Hall, Brady McMillon, Scott Cross, and Kris Whisenant.
Honorary pallbearers will be Donny Webb, Glen Kimble, Jonathan Davis, Ryan Westbrook, and Scott Mackey.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 212 Gene Samford Drive, Lufkin, Texas 75904, or Hudson Middle School Angel Tree Fund, Attn. Donna Rollins, 6735 Ted Trout Drive, Lufkin, Texas 75904.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning prior to the services.
