Elizabeth F. Brock

Funeral services for Elizabeth F. Brock, 69, of Hudson will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Vic Bass and Brother John Harvey officiating. Interment will follow in the Narrow Way Cemetery.

Mrs. Brock was born May 23, 1949 in Wells, Texas to the late Virgie (Shoemaker) and Charlie Mettlen, and died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Brock had resided in Lufkin most of her life and was a cook at Parkwood Place Nursing Home for 20 years. She loved to hunt, fish, and work in her flower beds. Mrs. Brock was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Roland Brock of Hudson; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Steve Sage of Corrigan and Tressa and Chris Feazell of Nacogdoches; son and daughter-in-law, Bubba and Wanda Brock of Hudson; grandchildren, Dee Ann Beauchamp, Keith Ferguson, Josh Feazell, Jake Feazell, Sara McDonald, and Cory Brock; seven great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, J.W. and Tina Mettlen and Carl Allen Mettlen, all of Diboll; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles Ray Mettlen.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Mettlen, Lewis Mettlen, Tim Lee, Michael Mettlen, Bubba Aldredge, and John Allen Mettlen.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
