Graveside services for Dorothy M. Watson, 82, of Diboll will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park with Pastor Keith Nash officiating.
Mrs. Watson was born January 26, 1935 in Columbus, Mississippi to the late Birtie (Moore) and Henry Harris, and died Saturday, January 6, 2018 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Watson had resided in Diboll for over 60 years. She was a Bookkeeper for various local department stores. She loved to sew, read, and work puzzle books. She attended Jubilee Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Smith and husband Roger of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Sharon Weisinger and husband Jerry, and Debbie Haschke and husband Chris, all of Diboll; grandchildren, Amy Collins and husband James of Wichita Falls, Dana Smith of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Holly Dalenberg and husband Jason of Houston, Kelsey Haschke and Dillon Haschke, both of Diboll; great-grandchildren, Ben Collins, MaryBeth Collins and CarrieAnn Collins, all of Wichita Falls; sisters, Betty Downing of Quitman, Mississippi and Birtie Rester and husband Marshall of Mobile, Alabama; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Milton E. Watson; granddaughter, Carrie Smith; brothers, RL Harris and Mike Harris; and sister, Helen Carpenter.
