Cynthia Rene Pope

Memorial services for Cynthia Rene Pope, 51, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Abundant Life United Methodist Church, 1715 Sayers Street, Lufkin, Texas.

Ms. Pope was born June 13, 1970 in Lufkin, Texas to Christie Marie Allen Pullin Pope and Benjamin Frank “Bubba” Pope. She died Monday, December 20, 2021 at her residence.

Ms. Pope was a loving mother and grandmother. In her spare time she loved crafting and doing DIYs. In the past she traveled the world showing dogs. She used to live life on Friday nights and weekends at football games and softball games with her kids. She loved spending her time with her kids and grandkids, cooking big family dinners, and watching football games, dog shows, and the Olympics.

She is survived by her son, Benjamin Anthony Pope; daughters, April Nicole Radke and Christa Ilene “Smiley” Radke; grandchildren, Skyden Cree Pope, Kyler Allen Haygood, Skylar Marie Pope, Sadie Mitchell Pope, and Isabella Faith Garcia; sister, Jennifer Pope; daughter-in-law, Tiffany Pope; nephews, Jacob Farrior, Mark Helton, and Brandon Helton; great-nephews, Braylen Farrior, Kayson Farrior, and Preston Farrior; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Pope; and brothers-in-law, William “Bill” Farrior and Mark Helton, Sr..
