Gina Linstrom

Funeral services for Gina Linstrom, 50, of Huntington, will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Salem Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Adrian Neal and Brother David Merritt officiating. Interment will follow in the Huntington Cemetery.

Mrs. Linstrom was born December 13, 1963 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Friday, December 27, 2013 in a Lufkin hospital.

Mrs. Linstrom had been a secretary for the Huntington Middle School for 14 years, and lived in Huntington all her life. She was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Huntington. She loved all types of music and loved attending musical concerts. Mrs. Linstrom was a great caregiver, and enjoyed helping people. She was very proficient at her job and took great pride in that. Mrs. Linstrom was a practical joker, an avid animal lover, and a great photographer.

Survivors include her husband, David Linstrom of Huntington; sons and daughter-in-law, Collen and Teresa Linstrom, Jordan Linstrom, and Ashton Linstrom, all of Huntington; grandson, Hayden Linstrom of Huntington; parents, Ginger Forrest of Huntington, Wendell Morris of Lufkin, and Hosea and Virginia Forrest of Huntington; brother, Mathew Morris of Homestead, Florida; and sister and brother-in-law, Tracey and Anthony Bartlett of Huntington.

She was preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Morris, and grandparents, Jimmie and Delma Vardeman.

Pallbearers will be Greg Korn, Mike Branson, Greg Boston, Eddie Arnold, Tezzie Terry, Bob Cramer, J.T. Haygood and Brad Colwell.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Salem Missionary Baptist Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at Salem Missionary Baptist Church located at 965 Ralph Nerren Road, Huntington, Texas.
