Alexander Joseph "A.J." Jensen

Funeral services for Alexander Joseph “A.J.” Jensen, 22, of Lufkin will be held Monday, December 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Andrew G. Pittman officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

A.J. was born November 12, 1991 in Los Angeles, California. He lost his life in a tragic accident Christmas evening, December 25, 2013 in Lufkin, while riding his bicycle.

A.J. had resided in Lufkin for 10 years and was a student at Angelina College. He was a car lover and was a whiz on the computer. A.J. loved taking care of his daughter.

Survivors include his daughter, Alice Rae Jensen; mother and stepfather, Dr. Rima and Wayne Kittley of Pollok; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and James Kramer of Mission Viejo, California, Laura Jensen of San Francisco, California, and Maraya and Jeff Bouas of College Station; grandparents, Jura and Vytenis Jodele of Pollok; nephews and nieces, Ricky Kramer, Brianna Kramer, Chelsie Kramer and Gabriel Bouas; aunt, Vida Jodele; uncle, Julius Jodele; stepbrother, Joshua Kittley and wife Amber; stepsister, Erin Henry and husband Buddy; step-nephews and step-niece, Gage Johnson, Garrett Kittley and Madeline Henry.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Harlan Jensen, Jr.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
