Funeral services for Thelma L. Burns Page, 78, of Lufkin will be held Friday, September 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Lester Foreman officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Page was born May 3, 1935 in Quinlan, Texas to Herman and Thelma (Britt) Bailey, and died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at her residence.

Mrs. Page resided in Lufkin most of her life. She was a Registered Nurse and retired from Memorial Health Systems of East Texas following 25 years of employment. After retiring from the hospital she worked several years for Dr. William Strinden. Mrs. Page was a member of the Fuller Springs Baptist Church and the Buna Sunday school class.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Judy Burns of Nacogdoches; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Tony Nash of Huntington and Susan Love and Scott McMillan of Kerrville; grandchildren, Stephanie Parnell, Brandon Love, Jason Davis, Matthew Burns and Christina Burns; 10 great-grandchildren; special friends, Olivia Ellington and members of the Buna Sunday school class at Fuller Springs Baptist Church; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, J.V. Burns; second husband, Eulon Page; and sisters, Betty Chadwick and Carolyn Wells.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Burns, Collin Randolph, Brandon Love, Trey Harris, Scott McMillan, Jimmy Parnell and Charlie Nash.

Honorary pallbearers will be Corbin Love, Jimmy Ray Parnell and Clayton Love.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
