Graveside services for John David Sibley, 35, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Berry Cemetery with Brother Robert Lankford and Brother Bobby Spencer officiating.
Mr. Sibley was born May 26, 1978 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Sibley was a lifetime resident of Lufkin and was a supervisor at Goodwill. He liked to read and watch wrestling, loved his family, enjoyed playing with his nieces and nephews, and loved all animals.
Survivors include his mother, Sharon Madden of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Doug Savell of Anacoco, Louisiana; grandmother, Catherine Windham of Lufkin; nephews and niece, Cagen Frederick of Lufkin, Victoria Frederick and Tanner Garcia, both of Anacoco, Louisiana; best friend, Micah Harkness of Lufkin; his beloved red heeler, Sadie; and “his nurse”, Misti Murray of Lufkin.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John “J.T.” Windham; and stepdad, Robert Madden.
Pallbearers will be Luther Bynum, Joey Bynum, Doug Savell, Dale Osborn, Cagen Frederick and David Frederick.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
