Bonnie Bell Allen

Funeral services for Bonnie Bell Allen, 58, of Lufkin, will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Poage and Reverend R.G. “Bud” Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Gann Cemetery.

Mrs. Allen was born August 23, 1955 in Lufkin, Texas to Jim Gordon and Elise Bell. She died Sunday, September 8, 2013 at her residence.

Bonnie was blessed throughout life with many opportunities – mainly a chance to form many cherished friendships.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Ed Allen; parents, Jim Gordon and Elise Bell; daughters and grandchildren, Misty Henderson, Ashley and Payton Davis, Katherine Henderson, and Caroline Henderson; brothers and sister-in-law, Jim Randall and Brenda Bell, and Raymond Bell, along with several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Geraldine Allen; and a whole bunch of “STEPPIES:” John and Cathy Allen, Clayton, Gabriell, Hannah and Cullen; Doug and Charlotte Allen and Carlie; Jim and Jennifer Johnson and Cody; and Randall and Lea Hawkins, and Madison and Colt.

Pallbearers will be Lee Thompson, Dennis Luna, Liborio Arredondo, Randall Hawkins, Kirk Kirkland and Kip Miller.

Honorary pallbearers will be Philip Goodwin and Bill Thompson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Old Redtown School Building, c/o JoAnn Denby, P.O. Box 74, Pollok, Texas 75969, or to a charity of your choice.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
