Michael Lynn Wilkerson

Funeral services for Michael Lynn Wilkerson, 69, of Diboll will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Lewis Jones officiating. Masonic graveside services will follow in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery under the auspices of the Groveton Masonic Lodge #284 A.F. & A.M.

Mr. Wilkerson was born November 28, 1942 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Vann and Cora Bell (Stephens) Wilkerson, and died Thursday, February 2, 2012 in a local nursing home.

Mr. Wilkerson resided in Lufkin most of his life and worked for the Texas Department of Corrections. He was a member of the Groveton Masonic Lodge #284 A.F. & A.M. Mr. Wilkerson was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Mark Anthony and Melony Wilkerson of Diboll; daughter and son-in-law, Flonnee and Charlie Ozan of Wildwood; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers and sisters-in-law, Randal and Karen Wilkerson of Elgin, Gary and Norma Wilkerson of Laramie, Wyoming and Gayle and Sharon Wilkerson of Dripping Springs; sister and brother-in-law, Celeste and Mark Graham of Elgin; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilkerson was preceded in death by his sister, Lynette Wilkerson.

Pallbearers will be Carson Stewart, Christopher Vazquez, Alex Wilkerson, Nick Wilkerson, Drew West and Jeff Wilkerson.

Honorary pallbearer will be Mark Graham.
