Memorial services for Timothy Price Crain, Sr., 60, of Lufkin, will be held Monday, October 11, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Reverend Brad Morgan and Reverend Dale Carter officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Crain was born November 5, 1949, in Lake Village, Arkansas, to the late Nan (McNutt) and Shelby Crain. He died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at his residence.

Mr. Crain was a sales manager and 20-year employee of United Bilt Homes, Inc. He was also a bass player for several bands. He loved photography and was a World War II buff. Mr. Crain loved his wife, children and grandchildren, and had many friends. Formerly of Harrison, Arkansas, he had lived in Lufkin for the past 28 years. He was a member of the Davisville Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Polly Crain of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Timothy and Melissa Crain of Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Emily and Tech Sergeant Heath Mooney (USAF) of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jessica, Isabella and Connor Crain of Houston, Victoria and Callie Mooney of Little Rock; sisters, Nicky Crain of Lufkin and Linda McQuilkin of Springfield, Missouri; nephews, Nicholas Sanders and Shawn Milligan; and niece, Jessica Joseph.

He was preceded in death by his niece, Simone Sanders.
