Yahannah Yisrael, 71, of Lufkin died Thursday, April 27, 2017 in a Houston hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Ms. Yisrael was born July 5, 1945 in Renton, Washington to the late Irma Jean (Forsythe) and George Earl Beckworth. She had resided in Lufkin for 20 years and was a Real Estate Agent with Century 21. Ms. Yisrael was an avid outdoors person and loved working with wood. She was well known in Butte, Montana for painting on velvet. Ms. Yisrael was a Messianic Jew.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Tammy and Greg Ener and Tia Yisrael, all of Lufkin; sons and daughters-in-law, Travis and Deana Miller of Lufkin, Ty and Gretchen Miller of Butte, Montana, and Tanner Hole of Fort Stockton; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Anita Howard of Butte, Montana and Patricia Taylor of Salt Lake City, Utah; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tanyah Yisrael; and brother, Les Beckworth.
