Memorial services for Wyatt Dean Madden, 86, of Huntington will be held Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Pastor Randy Durham officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Wyatt Dean Madden peacefully passed away with his loving family at his side Saturday, May 9, 2026. He was born May 2, 1940 in Pennington, Texas to the late Allie (Mabry) and John Elbert Madden.

He was a loving husband and father and a great example of a Godly man. He enjoyed fishing and playing Chickenfoot with his family. He was of the Assembly of God faith and faithfully served the Lord and his church all his adult life. Mr. Madden was a man of many talents and could fix anything. He cared for his family until the end.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Mavice Eloise (Durham) Madden; children, Alta Madden Sambol and husband Oral of North Richland Hills, Texas, Vonda Madden Sutton and husband Barry of Mesquite, Texas, Andrea Madden Camp of The Colony, Texas, and Wyatt Dean Madden, Jr. and wife JoAnn of Hallettsville, Texas; eight grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren.
