Willie Shane Vann, Sr.

Funeral services for Willie Shane Vann, Sr., 50, of Livingston will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Maddox officiating. Interment will follow in Gann Cemetery.

Mr. Vann was born May 2, 1971 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Laura (Poland) and Willie Lee Vann, Jr., and died Friday, September 17, 2021 in a Houston hospital.

Formerly of Wells, Mr. Vann had resided in Livingston for 3 1/2 years. He was a truck driver by trade. Mr. Vann was a Christian.

Survivors include his wife, Ginny (Thomison) Vann of Livingston; sons, Jayson and Ashly Edwards of Cleveland and Willie Shane Vann, Jr. of Trinity; daughters and sons-in-law, Shayna and Michael Sterling of Beaumont and Shayla and Daryn Pfeiffer of Hudson; grandsons, Rhen Pfeiffer and Colt Edwards; sisters and brother-in-law, Vickie Vann-Ferguson of Lufkin and Venissa and Kevin Jacobs of Pollok; brother, Max Vann of Wells; niece, Laura Ferguson of Lufkin; nephews, Clayton Jacobs and Ryan Jacobs, both of Tyler; and his four-legged companion, Diesel.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Willie Shane Vann, Jr., Michael Sterling, Daryn Pfeiffer, Jayson Edwards, Max Vann, and Kevin Jacobs.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning prior to the services.
