Graveside services for William Delmar Reynolds, 94, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, January 10, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Fielder Memorial Cemetery with Brother David Hunt officiating.
Mr. Reynolds was born August 6, 1926 in Brown County, Texas to the late Lillian Irene (Lester) and William Bomer Reynolds, and died Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in a local nursing home.
Mr. Reynolds had resided in Lufkin for 50 years. He served in the U.S. Army and owned furniture and carpet stores during his career. He was of the Presbyterian faith. He was a good man, he worked hard and provided for his family
Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Diane Edwards of Houston; sons and daughters-in-law, William Don and Debbie Reynolds and Arthur Ron and Linda Reynolds, all of Lufkin; grandchildren and spouse, Tim and Laura Reynolds of Diboll, Tammy Reynolds of Carthage, Donya Kay Reynolds of Weldon, Robbin Matthew Edwards of Garrison, and Chris Edwards of Diboll; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Edwards; sister, Virginia Reynolds of Portland; special friends, Bill and Vicky Craig of Lufkin; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Faye Jean Reynolds; and two sisters.
