Funeral services for Wendell Earl Forsythe, 66, of Lufkin, will be held Monday, March 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.
Mr. Forsythe was born January 22, 1953 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Rose Ella (Blake) and Robert Earl Forsythe, and died Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Forsythe was a lifetime resident of Lufkin and was an auto mechanic. He was member of Pleasant Grove Community Church.
Survivors include his sons, Willard Forsythe and Kenneth Forsythe; daughter, Wendelynn Ellis and husband Spencer; grandchildren, Hunter Forsythe, Kenzie Forsythe, Braylee Forsythe, Etienne Forsythe, Trevynn Warren, Wesley Warren, Rose Ella Ellis and Millie Ellis; sister, Regina Bridges and husband Danny; nieces and nephews, Deidra Turner and husband Wendell, Trent Crawford and wife Mecka, Daniel Bridges, Michelle Smith and husband Calvin, and Anne Marie Bridges; special friends, Andy Teer, Steven Townsend, and Don Wells; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Cole Turner, Spencer Ellis, Reagan Rowe, Keith Forsythe, Gerald Forsythe and Mike Williford.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
