Wanda "Ladybug" Cole

Graveside services for Wanda “Ladybug” Cole, 84, of Zavalla will be held Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Zavalla Cemetery with Brother M.H. Shubert officiating.

Mrs. Cole was born July 18, 1937 in Zavalla, Texas to the late Birdie (Havard) and Justus Reynolds, and died Thursday, October 28, 2021 in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Cole resided in Zavalla most of her life. She was a dedicated wife of 47 years, mother, and homemaker. She loved to read and sew. She and her husband, A.G., traveled a lot because of his job. Mrs. Cole was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include her special niece, Wanda Creamer of Zavalla; special friend, Jody Mars of Picayune, Mississippi; brothers-in-law, W.H. “Bill” Cole of Zavalla and Anthony “Tony” Cole of Alabama; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, A.G. Cole; daughter, Stacey Cole Massey; sisters, Doris Lowery and Gladys Young; and brother, Thomas L. Reynolds.
