Virginia Ann Mchaney

Graveside services for Virginia Ann McHaney, 83, of Beach City, formerly of Huntington, will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Huntington Cemetery with Brother Van Johnson officiating.

Mrs. McHaney was born June 30, 1938 in Waco, Texas to the late Marbeth Ann (Grimm) and Curtis Dan Jenkins, and died Saturday, September 18, 2021 in Baytown, Texas.

Mrs. McHaney resided in Huntington for 21 years prior to moving to Beach City, Texas. She was a secretary for the United States Air Force for 20 years. Mrs. McHaney was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Wesley Puckett of Dunnellon, Florida; son and daughter-in-law, Samuel and Lisa McHaney of Beach City, Texas; grandchildren, Katherine Hassett and husband Robert, Elsa McHaney, Jack McHaney; great-grandchildren, Jaxson Hassett and Kol Hassett; sister, Mitzi Ladd of Lane, Oklahoma; and numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Lamar McHaney; and brother, Dan Jenkins.
