Vickie Ann Boren

Memorial services for Vickie Ann Boren, 83, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at First Christian Church Lufkin, located at 1300 S 1st Street, Lufkin, with Reverend Jack Knox and Reverend Jennifer Steele-Lantis officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Vickie Ann Boren died peacefully surrounded by family Friday, September 17, 2021 in Lufkin. She was born March 22, 1938 in Jennings, Louisiana to Walter and Erma (McKague) Morgan.

Vickie and her husband Dale traveled and lived many places all over the world. They moved to Lufkin in 1992 and shared 59 beautiful years together!

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mark, Daniel, and Ted, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her sister, Bonnie Schulthess, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Dale.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Kyle Krohn and all the staff at Woodland Heights Medical Center for their care, compassion, and kindness.
