Veda Elizabeth (Allen) Bourge

Graveside services for Veda Elizabeth (Allen) Bourge, 95, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Bourge was born January 3, 1924 in Carmona, Texas to the late Bess Elizabeth (Amburn) and Arthur Lee Allen, Sr., and died Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in a hospice facility in Tyler.

Mrs. Bourge had resided in Lufkin most of her life and was a secretary for the Chrysler dealership. Mrs. Bourge was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her brother, Arthur Allen, Jr. of Lufkin; nieces, Sara Lehman of San Francisco, California and Tami Witzell of Fort Worth; and great niece, Kristen Taylor of San Francisco, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband in 2013, Numa J. “Blackie” Bourge, Jr.
