Van Buren Scott III

Memorial services for Van Buren Scott III, 74, of Pollok will be held Friday, August 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Scott was born August 23, 1951 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Audrey Lee (Burns) and Van Buren Scott, Jr., and died Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at his residence.

Survivors include his sister-in-law, Ruth Scott; nephews and nieces and their spouses, Joshua and Andrea Scott, Jonathan Scott, Starla and Katherine Scott, Christopher and Kaelyn Scott, Benjamin and Kristine Scott, Hannah Scott, Josiah Scott, Levi Scott; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, James Scott and Bill Scott.
