Mrs. Carrell was born July 14, 1934 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Evie (Trahan) and Dave Hopson.
Vada was a lifelong resident of Angelina County. She worked at Brookshire Brothers in the Deli, but taking care of her family was always her first priority.
