Tyler graduated from Texas Tech University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He then attended South Plains College and obtained a degree in Sound Recording Engineering. It was there that Tyler met the love of his life, Kelsie Wallace. Tyler and Kelsie were married on September 6, 2014. Happy kids sing. This has been true of Tyler his whole life. Tyler was a dreamer and a visionary. His creative mind and genuine love for others allowed him to be used by God on this earth in unique and extraordinary ways. He was the. best. dad. - fun and funny, so loving and caring, intentional and so proud. His two daughters were truly the delight of his life, and together with Kelsie it was decided that they were the most important things. In his last few years his biggest priority was being with his wife and daughters, and he did everything necessary to live that out. Dance parties in the living room, slow mornings around the kitchen table, ice cream dates, cuddle time on the couch, zoo picnics, and so much more are precious memories of the deep love and intentional heart he had for his family. Tyler and Kelsie shared something very special. Their love of God and life and music and others carried them through the most magical 10 years of marriage. They got to go on many adventures together including visiting and living in other countries, many special trips, and a tour for their band, The Hopeful Few. Singing, happy Tyler scooped up Kelsie in college, and they made music together until the end. It was an honor and a great joy to lead so many in worship, write and record original music, and play music for a living together! Though they faced some difficulties in life, Tyler and Kelsie were always carried by God through every circumstance, and Tyler knew Jesus. His biggest, best ideas were lived out through his real love for God and people, and he lived and loved BIG. His life was marked by generosity and love. He was a sweetie - happy and content. A bright light in every room. Full of ideas and passion, wild amounts of peace and funny stories. May he rest in true peace as he sings in heaven - doing the thing he’s always been made to do.

Tyler’s family would like to express their thanks for all the love, generosity, and support that they have received from so many.
