Ty Jaramillo Torres

Funeral services for Ty Jaramillo Torres, 26, of Weatherford will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jay Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in the Berry Cemetery.

Mr. Torres was born October 28, 1992 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Rhonda Gail (Bray) and Larry Jaramillo Torres, and died Monday, October 29, 2018 in Weatherford in a car accident.

Ty had resided in Weatherford most of his life. He worked in Maintenance for Acme Brick Company in Millsap. He was known for his smile and as always being a happy and joyful person. While attending junior high school in Weatherford, Ty participated in the Young Marines and was an accomplished marksman. He loved hunting and fishing in East Texas and was a very gifted fly fisherman. Ty was a member of Eastside Church of Christ in Weatherford.

Survivors include his wife, Amber Torres of Weatherford; parents, Rhonda and Larry J. Torres of Lufkin; sisters, Jennifer Breland and husband Joey of Hudson and Elizabeth Cole of Huntington; brother, Randal Lamon and wife Nikki of Lufkin; maternal grandfather, J.C. Bray of Broaddus; paternal grandparents, Ann and Louis Torres of Lufkin; father-in-law, James Chittum of Weatherford; mother-in-law, Shay Goins of Weatherford; maternal grandfather, John Havard of Huntington; nieces, Alyssa Torres and Addison Madera, both of Hudson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Joy Havard; paternal great-grandmother, Frances Walker, and paternal great-grandparents, Simona and Pablo Torres, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Randal Lamon, Jonathan Torres, Jake Torres, Wesley Bray, Terry Torres, and Chris Torres.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Torres, Johnny Torres, Michael Torres, and Henry Torres.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
