Troy Allen Tiemann

A Celebration of Life for Troy Allen Tiemann, 57, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. A private burial will be held in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Troy was born January 27, 1968 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to Mary Jane (Gerveler) and Thomas Michael Tiemann, and passed away peacefully surrounded by family Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

Troy spent his childhood in Fort Madison, Iowa and Brenham, Texas. After moving to Lufkin in 1981, Troy graduated Lufkin High School in 1986 and Stephen F. Austin State University in 2001. Troy and his wife G.G. established Rusty Axe Brewing Company in 2020, where he enjoyed many brews with family and friends. Troy also enjoyed traveling, hunting, and concerts. Most of all, Troy loved spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 13 years, G.G. Tiemann; sons, Jacob Tiemann and wife Cheyenne, Alec Tiemann, Jarret Raley; daughters, Brittany Tiemann, Rachel Martinez and husband Jake; grandsons, Asher Tiemann and his baby brother who is on the way; mother, Mary Jane Tiemann; brothers, Brad Tiemann and wife Patti, Darin Tiemann and wife Jada; along with countless other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Michael Tiemann.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Tiemann, Alec Tiemann, Jarret Raley, Jake Martinez, Brad Tiemann, Darin Tiemann, Kurt Gerveler, and Richard Warner.

Honorary pallbearers will be Asher Tiemann, Gary Tiemann, Tim Tiemann, Tim Rhome, Bobby Dollak, Gary Stringer, Stany Joseph, and Russell Skrehot.
