Graveside services for Trevor Jackson McKnight, 14, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in Gann Cemetery with Pastor Wesley Matchett officiating.

Trevor was born July 30, 2012 in Lufkin, Texas and died Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Trevor loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing. Some of his favorite pastimes were drawing and reading. He was the most kindhearted person you would ever meet, and he loved to put a smile on everyone’s face. Trevor loved his family and friends, and most importantly, he loved Jesus.

Survivors include his mother, Sherri McKnight; sister and brother-in-law, Morgan and Payton Gehrt; nephew, Raylen Gehrt; niece, Prairie Gehrt; extended family, Brian Smith, Jennifer Smith, Logan Smith, Landon Smith; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ayden, Pierce Brennen, Nolan, Kade, Logan and Landon.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
