Private graveside services for Tony Milton Nelson, 77, of Lufkin will be held in the Whitehouse Cemetery with Brother D.R. McNaughton officiating.
Mr. Nelson was born August 4, 1942 in Hobbs, New Mexico to the late Vera Mae (Rainbolt) and Benard Milton Nelson, and died Saturday, April 18, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Nelson had resided in Lufkin for 35 years. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard and retired from Lufkin Creosoting where he was employed for 20 years. He was a coin collector and loved watching movies. Mr. Nelson was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include his daughter, Debra Tucker of Lufkin; sons, Dennis Faulk and Darrell Faulk, both of Lufkin; daughters, Mitzi White of Hobbs, New Mexico, Shelly Hudgens of Phoenix, Arizona, Mendi Tramill of Lovengton, New Mexico, and Brandi McAdams of Hobbs, New Mexico; grandchildren, Amanda Graham, Joe David Reider, Angel Mott, Cheyenne Mott, Daniel Mott, Eric Mott, Shannon Casper; and great-grandchildren, Laci and Mason, and nine other great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Geneva Sue Nelson.
