Funeral services for Thomas Wiley DuBose, 79, of Apple Springs will be held Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Due and Brother Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Zion Cemetery.
Mr. DuBose was born January 15, 1939 in Apple Springs, Texas to the late Osa (Lovett) and Joseph E. DuBose, and died Wednesday, July 4, 2018 in a hospital in Houston.
Mr. DuBose had resided in Apple Springs all of his life. He was the owner and operator of DuBose Transmission and was a member of Apple Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Jean DuBose of Apple Springs; sons, Tommy DuBose of Austin and Larry DuBose of Apple Springs; grandchildren and their spouses, Adam and Allison DuBose, Ashlan and Chris Glaze, Tori DuBose, and Britton DuBose; great-grandchildren, Reagan DuBose, Jackson DuBose, and McKinley DuBose; brother, Paul D. DuBose and wife Shirley of Bryan; brother-in-law, Robert Due of Niceville, Florida; sisters-in-law, Ruth White of Huntington, Jane Chappell of Lufkin; Maycel Robinson of Bryan, and Carolyn Baker of Clear Lake; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Adam DuBose, Britton DuBose, Brandon DuBose, Jerry DuBose, Michael DuBose, Jimmy DuBose, and Kevin Baker.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joel Baker and Kenneth Chappell.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
