Terry Allen Lea, Sr.

Funeral services for Terry Allen Lea, Sr., 73, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Harmony Hill Baptist Church with Dr. John W. Greene officiating. Interment will follow in the Tennessee Cemetery in Timpson.

Mr. Lea was born January 29, 1949 in Timpson, Texas to the late Ruby Murlene (Paramore) and John Allen Lea, and died Monday, January 2, 2023 in a local hospital.

Terry was a Construction Manager for 37 years and worked for Raytheon and The Washington Group. He served as a Ranger in the 173 ^rd Airborne Brigade in the United States Army. He was a member of the Cedar Bayou Masonic Lodge #321 A.F.& A.M. and was a member of Gideons International. Terry loved to go fishing in his spare time. He was member of Harmony Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sharon Lea of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Robin and James Roberts of Lumberton, Angelia and Jimmie Bird of Fannett; sons and daughter-in-law, Terry Allen Lea, Jr. and Kim of Frisco, Todd Lea of Lufkin; grandchildren, Cody Riley, Hailee Riley, Destany Diaz, Karalyne Lea, Hannah Lea, Kaitlyn Lea, Allyson Lea, Gyllian Lea; 12 bonus grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Ava, Lylah, and Colt; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Vic Hagler of Tarkington, Sherri and Mike Herrington of Huffman; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carla and Jesse Perkins of Huntington; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Cary and Janet Ranne, Gary Ranne, all of Baytown; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
