Teresa Ann Mayes

Funeral services for Teresa Ann Mayes, 62, of Huntington will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Kent Childers officiating. Interment will follow in the Rocky Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Mayes was born October 23, 1960 in Houston, Texas, and died Sunday, October 15, 2023 at UT Tyler Hospital.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Carissa Cox of Dickinson, and Lance and Ally Cox of Lufkin; grandchildren, Logan, Alayna, Caden, Chelsie, Carter, Branden, Grayson, Brennan, and M.J.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Royce and Donna Tucker of Huntsville, and Randy and Sandra Tucker of Magnolia; brother-in-law, Jim Burrell of Spring; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Royce Vance and Jonell Tucker; birth mother, Emily Tucker; and sisters, Barbara Turner and Lynn Burrell.

Pallbearers will be Logan Gilbert, Caden Cox, Carter Cox, Branden Cox, Eric Cox, Nick Jett, and Josh Lewis.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
