Suzette "Jeanness" (Newman) Denman

Graveside services for Suzette “Jeanness” (Newman) Denman, 70, of Lufkin, will be held Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the Old Center Cemetery near Huntington with Brother Russell Tullos officiating.

Mrs. Denman was born December 15, 1947, in Nacogdoches County, Texas, the daughter of the late Bessie Faye (Banks) and Ardist Bill Newman.  She died Friday, July 27, 2018 in a Lufkin hospice facility.

Mrs. Denman had worked as a production worker at International Paper in Corrigan.  She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Denman of Lufkin; son, Jim Denman and wife Carla of Lufkin; daughters, Sherrie Herring and husband James of Zavalla, and Mary Niederhofer and husband Keith of Huntington; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

n lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Denman’s name may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 West Frank Ave., Lufkin, Texas 75904.
