Susan Annette Cole

Memorial services for Susan Annette Cole, 61, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Dennis White officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Ms. Cole was born August 26, 1960 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Barbara Ann (Burnette) and Carroll Cecil Cole, and passed peacefully Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at her home.

Ms. Cole was a lifetime resident of Lufkin. She had worked as a secretary for the Paul Clark Law Firm and Lufkin State Supported Living Center. She was also a caretaker, and several of the people she took care of considered her like a mom. Ms. Cole loved reading and visiting people, and never met a stranger. She was kind and thoughtful and family was very important to her. Ms. Cole was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Jennifer Freeman of Nacogdoches; granddaughter, Madyson Freeman of Nacogdoches, grandson, Drake Freeman of Nacogdoches; daughters, Angela Davidson of San Angelo and Elizabeth Pearson of McKinney; sister, Donna Miles of Lufkin; brother, Chet Cole of Arkansas; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
