Stephen Charles Stewart

Graveside services for Stephen Charles Stewart, 64, of Lufkin will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Apple Springs.

Mr. Stewart was born July 12, 1957 in Dallas, Texas to the late Billie Jo (Lee) and Charles Ray Stewart, and died Monday, March 14, 2022 in a local hospital.

Mr. Stewart worked as a Dark Room Technician and X-Ray Technician for Memorial Hospital (now CHI St. Luke’s Health Memorial) for 20 years. He loved Lufkin Panther football, listening to music and audio books. He was very adventurous and loved to travel.

Survivors include his nephews, Grant Jones and wife Diana of Lufkin, Christopher L. Jones and wife Jana of Apple Springs; great niece and nephews, Kannin Jones, Jentry Jones, Dustin Shupak, Dayton Shupak; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Brenda Lee Jones.
