Stephen "Ryan" Chenault

Memorial services for Stephen “Ryan” Chenault, 46, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Ryan was born October 8, 1980 in Baytown, Texas to Donna (Morgan) and Walter Chenault, and died Thursday, October 8, 2026 in a local hospice facility.

Survivors include his wife, Candice Stott Chenault; daughters, Ashlee Chenault, Madi Stott Cooper and son-in-law Colby, and Emma Kate Stott; mother, Donna Morgan Ray and stepfather Gary; father, Walter Chenault; sister, Amy Wofford and brother-in-law Kevin; nieces, Kristin Dominy and Katie Rutty; childhood friends, Waylon Symmank and Jason Hill; and his beloved fur baby, Finley Mae.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edna Carter Storey, Don Morgan, Bill and Angie Chenault; and great-grandmothers, Marguerite Carter and Eloise Grubb Peckham.
