Funeral services for Shirley W. Holloway, 73, of Nacogdoches will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeremiah Moss officiating. Interment will follow at 12:00 noon at Macune Cemetery in San Augustine.

Mrs. Holloway was born January 15, 1953 in Nacogdoches, Texas to the late Alma (Jones) and Arlis Luther Watson, and died Sunday, August 2, 2026 in Tyler, Texas.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and George Stover of Nacogdoches; grandchildren and spouses, Nicole Moore, Savana and Nate Jernigan, all of Woden, Colton and Marisa Stover of Nacogdoches, Seth and Faith Stilley of Palestine, and Lexie Stilley of Nacogdoches; great-grandchildren, Caedyn Stewart, Peyton Stewart, Corey Moore, Clay Jernigan, Aurora Stover, Sahara Stilley, and Haddie Stilley; sisters, Ruth Child of Ovilla and Paunee Ogden of Mesquite; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny Holloway; and son, Christopher Stilley.

Pallbearers will be Nate Jernigan, Ethan Stover, Caedyn Stewart, Chris Stover, Sonny Watson, and Braydy Lodermeier.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
