Shirlene Kelsey

A Celebration of Life for Shirlene Kelsey, 75, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Lufkin First United Pentecostal Church with Pastor Joe Stanley officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kelsey was born May 18, 1946 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Bennie (Allen) and R.G. Davis, Sr., and passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 in a local hospital. She was a lifetime resident of Angelina County and owned and operated Shirlene’s Beauty Shop for more than 50 years. Mrs. Kelsey was a lifetime member of Lufkin First United Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Reagan Kelsey of Pollok; sons and daughters-in-law, Aric and Shonda Kelsey and Shelton and Dez Kelsey, all of Pollok; grandchildren, Celie, Cy, and Callie Kelsey, Kamden, Reagan, Journey, Casen, and Bryson Kelsey; sisters and brother-in-law, Winnie Tomplait of Pollok and Gloria and Tracy King of Navasota; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
