Shelia Gayle Hutson

Memorial services for Shelia Gayle Hutson, 65, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John W. Greene officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Shelia Gayle Hutson was born January 17, 1957 and died August 30, 2022 at her residence. She was a lifetime resident of Lufkin, Texas.

As a young girl she was active in the Angelina County 4-H junior mounted patrol. She graduated from Lufkin High School class of 1975. She retired from Angelina Federal Credit Union in December 2021. She loved going to the beach with her beloved dog Gracey.

She is survived by her son, Heath Oliver of Houston, Texas; sister, Sherri Hutson Branch and husband Chris of Lufkin, Texas; and her two best friends, Cindy Stewart and Joan Wars.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Willimae Hutson.
