Shawn Paul Fann

Funeral services for Shawn Paul Fann of Leggett will be held Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Corrigan. Interment will follow in the Carmona Cemetery.

Shawn Paul Fann was born December 12, 1973 in Lufkin Texas to Preston Fann Jr. and Brenda Fann. Shawn passed away at the age of 51 at his home in Leggett, Texas.

Shawn was a quiet man who valued simplicity and solitude. Being raised in Leggett, he was able to grow up with close family and friends. He enjoyed tinkering with all types of things with his various interests over the years. Though he preferred his solitude he was always willing to help you out if you needed something.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda Cones Fann Thompson of Leggett; sister, Dana Wheeler and husband Victor Wheeler of Livingston, sister, Brandi McCrary and husband Jay McCrary of Montgomery; four nieces and one nephew; and numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Preston Fann Jr.; brother, Shane Ray Fann of Leggett; grandparents, Preston and Glennie Fann, Sr. of Corrigan and Walt and Rita Cones III of Leggett

Memorial contributions may be made to the Carmona Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 71, Corrigan, Texas 75939.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon prior to the service.
