Sharon Kay Fisher

Memorial services for Sharon Kay Fisher, 63, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Sharon was born June 25, 1960 in Tyler, Texas to the late Addie Joyce (Luce) and Doyle Fisher, and died Thursday, February 29, 2024 in a Houston hospital.

Sharon resided in Lufkin for a good bit of her life. She then moved to Palestine, Texas before making her way to Joplin Missouri. Finally, she returned to Lufkin, Texas a little over a decade ago to be closer to her kids and grandchildren.

She was a loving Mother, Nana, and Dog mom, who was strong-willed, selfless, and very outspoken. She loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed Mexican food, Diet Dr. Pepper, gardening, and living life to the fullest.

She was a survivor who battled various medical conditions, beating cancer twice. Thank God for her salvation and His promise of heaven. She's now dancing in the sky. She will truly be missed.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Juan III and Isolde Guerrero of Houston; daughters and sons-in-law, Crystal and Chris Stevens of Beaumont and Kayla and Miguel Lopez of Lufkin; granddaughters, Charlotte Guerrero and Alexis Reynolds; grandsons, Robert Guerrero, Mikey Lopez, Isaac Lopez, Adam Lopez, Emilio Lopez, and Mikah Lopez; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Myline Fisher of Oakwood and Buck and Susie Starling of Corrigan; sister and brother-in-law, LaBrenda Starling and Bubba Hoya of Broaddus; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother and sister-in-law, Tommy Edward and Sandra Kay Fisher.

Honorary pallbearers will be Buck Starling, Joe Fisher, Juan Guerrero, Mikey Lopez, Robert Guerrero, Miguel Lopez, Chris Stevens, and Bubba Hoya.
