Sandra Sue Bray

Funeral services for Sandra Sue Bray, 71, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Earl Sikes officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Bray was born December 5, 1946 in Angelina County, Texas to the late Ruth Claire (Kennedy) and Robert Sikes, Jr., and died Friday, October 26, 2018 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Bray was a lifelong resident of Angelina County. She was a Registered Nurse and retired from Memorial Hospital after 27 years of service. She enjoyed computers and social media, as well as cooking, reading, coloring, quilting and crocheting. She especially loved her animals. Mrs. Bray was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Bray of Lufkin; daughters, Delinda Dale Rochen and husband Richard of Waller, Frankie Sue Cryan and husband James of Lufkin, and Billie Ruth Dickey and husband Kevin of Lufkin; grandchildren, Katelyn Rochen of Austin, Sara Rochen of College Station, Brianna Cryan of Lufkin, and Austin Cryan of Lufkin; brother, Larry Earl Sikes and wife Wanda of Missouri; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James William “Jim Bill” Sikes.

Pallbearers will be Richard Rochen, James Cryan, Kevin Dickey,  Austin Cryan, Billy Wayne Oliver and Aaron Oliver.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
