Ruby Laverne Tucker

Graveside services for Ruby LaVerne Tucker, 95, of Friendswood will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Huntington Cemetery.

Ms. Tucker was born November 12, 1926 in Huntington, Texas to the late Tera (Fletcher) and Samuel Trinkle, and died Friday, March 25, 2022 in a facility in Alvin, Texas.

Ms. Tucker had resided in Houston most of her life. She worked for Houston Lighting & Power Company for 29 years. She loved doing crafts and enjoyed traveling. Ms. Tucker was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Van and Debra Tucker of Dickinson; granddaughters, Kelly Tucker of Houston, Deanna Austin of Dickinson; grandson, Larry Austin and wife Carrie of La Porte; great-grandson, Jayden Markey of Dickinson; great-granddaughter, Carly Austin of La Porte; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and three sisters.
