Royce Wayne Treadaway

Funeral services for Royce Wayne Treadaway, 62, of Huntington will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Pastor Jacob Fitzgerald and Brother Jim Dickey officiating. Interment will follow in Huntington Oddfellows Cemetery.

Mr. Treadaway was born July 24, 1963 in Lufkin, Texas to Nelda (Bellamy) and Royce M. Treadaway, and died Sunday, October 26, 2025 in Aurora, Colorado.

Royce had resided in Huntington most of his life and worked as a Pipeline Inspector. You could usually find him in the woods or on the lake, hunting and fishing, the two things he enjoyed the most. He loved Jesus and his family. When he wasn’t working, he was spending time with them. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Royce was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Denise Wade Treadaway of Huntington; son and daughter-in-law, Zac and Elaina Treadaway of West Monroe, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Destini and Jake Hicks of Alto; grandchildren, Tarren Hicks, Case Hicks, Rylan Hicks, Henley Treadaway; mother, Nelda Autra of Etoile; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Kay Treadaway of Huntington, Richard and Patti Treadaway of Wells; sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Lando Ellis of Huntington; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Pallbearers will be Tarren Hicks, Case Hicks, Rylan Hicks, Kasey Bryan, Dustin Treadaway, and Brent Reynolds.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2025 at the funeral home in Lufkin.
