Mass of Christian Burial for Rosalinda Lazcano Bernal, 78, of Corrigan will be held Monday, April 27, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church with Father Paul Kahan, SVD officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Springs Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Corrigan.
Mrs. Rosalinda was born August 25, 1947 in Hualahuises, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to the late Juanita (Bernal) and Andres Lascano, and passed away Friday, April 24, 2026 in the comfort of her home.
Mrs. Rosalinda had resided in Corrigan for over 30 years. She was born and grew up in Mexico alongside 5 siblings and her parents. She found great joy in gardening, attending mass every Sunday and sharing intimate and cherished moments with family and all her loved ones. Mrs. Rosalinda was of Catholic faith and was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church.
She will be remembered with great love for her gentle kindness, her hospitality, and her constant smile.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Horacio and Veronica Vazquez; daughter and son-in-law, Olga Esther Vazquez and Jesus I. Garcia; son and daughter-in-law, Javier A. and Patricia Vazquez; daughter and son-in-law, Virginia Vazquez and Liborio Bernal; son and daughter-in-law, Ezequiel A. Vazquez and Maria Guadalupe Carraza; daughter and son-in-law, Rosalinda Vazquez and Mario A. Ramirez; grandchildren, Daisy, Jennifer, Jessica, Jonathan, Jaquelin, Daniel, Andres, Alejandra, Samantha, Oliver, Alan, Ivan, Dominique, Erick, America, Maggie, and Andrea; great-grandchildren, Kevin, Dante, Liam, Jayce, Jacob, Arianna, Mateo, and Noel; siblings, Magdalena, Irma Graciela, Maria Andrea, and Juan Andres; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Guadalupe Vazquez; and brother, Jose Joel Lazcano.
Pallbearers will be Horacio Vazquez, Javier Vazquez, Ezequiel Vazquez, Liborio Bernal, Mario A. Ramirez, Juan A. Lazcano, Alan Vazquez, Ivan Vazquez, Erick Vazquez, Carlos Lazcano, Daniel Vazquez, and Andres Vazquez.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
