Rosalind Jo Mcadams

Funeral services for Rosalind Jo McAdams, 65, of Lufkin will be held Friday, September 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mark A. Newton officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Ms. McAdams was born July 12, 1959 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Sunday, September 22, 2024 in Metairie, Louisiana. She resided in Lufkin most of her life and was currently the Tribal Health Director of the Chief Kina Health Clinic in Livingston. Ms. McAdams loved gardening and traveling and was devoted to her grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church Lufkin.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Glen Hays of Nacogdoches; granddaughter, Brittany Hays; grandson, Cody Hays; great-granddaughter, Harleigh Ammons, all of Nacogdoches; father, Elven D. McAdams of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Justin and Melissa McAdams of Dallas; nephews, Jackson McAdams and Max McAdams, both of Dallas; and niece, Kate McAdams of Dallas.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley June (Pederson) McAdams.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon prior to the services.
